DO 1 THING
Small steps toward being prepared for an emergency
Do 1 Thing is a 12-month program that makes it easy for you to prepare yourself, your family, and your community for emergencies or disasters.
Do1Thing in April: Food
Have an emergency food supply that will meet the needs of your household for three days without outside help.
I would like to invite you to Meeting of the Minds, our third annual Hudson Valley Regional Dementia Conference. This daylong conference is a great resource for professionals in the field, people diagnosed with the early stages of Alzheimer’s and their family members and Spanish speakers.
We’ve invited keynote speakers Dr. Peter Rabins, co-author of “The 36-Hour Day” and co-director of the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and Mary Sano, Ph.D., director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
In addition, there will be breakout sessions on a variety of topics ranging from legal issues and symptom management to advocacy. Two sessions will also be held in Spanish.
Space is limited, so early registration is strongly recommended:
